What are pellets? Because of Firebrand there are now three types of pellets.
1.) Normal fuel grade pellets - made from fir, pine, blue spruce and several soft woods. Ground into sawdust and then fed thru a pelletizer to form pellets that are used for pellet stoves.
2.) Barbeque Pellets - Apple, mesquite, cherry and other exotic woods. There are several suppliers of these types of pellet with Jim C. Hamer Pellet company among those companies.
3.) Firebrand Instant Firestarting Pellets - Our pellets are unique to us. Made from Western Red and Yellow Cedar and other ingredients. These pellets are much denser than fuel grade pellets. They have to be to be able to withstand our patented injection process. Amazing pellets that can seem to do the impossible when it comes to lighting a fire. Put them to the test.
